Depth of Gratitude
What a night!
The words of gratitude don’t begin to express how I feel toward those who made the concert an energetic celebration of our authenticity and personal power – life itself. Last night was joyful, insightful, moving, and fun. An evening to remember, not only for me, but hopefully to those who attended.
One can do the best one can for an event to be successful – whatever ones definition of success is, and let the rest go. Much work goes in to preparing a concert; lighting, sound, program selection, and of course talent. There are many people to thank and acknowledge.
First, to Spirit Itself. For the inspiration and providing the means to make the concert happen. The energy of Spirit is throughout and is all there is. The Spirit of the Eagle is here, within us – and in Our deepest knowing, We know We are not chickens.
Michael for not only being a remarkable pianist and vocalist, but a man who walks his talk and a great visionary. You are truly a delight to work with and I am honored to be in the space of your presence.
Van, thank you for sharing your talent on the flute. Your quiet and gentle nature is powerful and most inviting.
Drums Not Guns, you guys were great. Michael, your energy is contagious – thanks for the singing (chanting) lessons. Happy, your name says it all. Thanks to all of you who began the concert and created the perfect tone to set us in the mood for celebration.
Jason, your timing for showing the film and adjusting the lighting was “right on” cue. Thank you.
DIck, thank you for finding just the right angle to video tape the event.
Robin, thank you for taking the pictures. You made yourself available when we needed you.
Center For Spiritual Living, thank you for allowing the space and support for making the concert happen. Sharon and Kathy you are gems.
Dream Cafe, thank you for providing a wide assortment of healthy food – enough to satisfy the deepest hunger of any man.
Our donors that offered free gifts or services which supported this most worthwhile event: Sports and Spine Chiropractic, Pocket Sandwich Theatre, Mercy’s Wine and Bar, Rainfresh Water, Nirmala for his books and DVD’s, and The Dallas Museum of Art.
And of course, to all the men who came and participated in making it a joyful occasion. You guys were great and I’m so glad to have met you.
May light and abundance follow you always,
Andrew
